The CNC youth program participates in community participation through regular activities and also through attending and participating in community events that everyone can enjoy. This encourages youth aged 12-25 to be more involved with their community while still being in a space their comfortable, seen and safe

Some of the highlights include the exciting pool inflatable days, where we setup our inflatable obstacle course at our local swimming pools and open it up to the community.

Our face painting events are another favorite, offering a creative outlet for youth as well as a paid opportunity, developing entrepreneurship. 

Our UMYWG also attends local Farmers Markets, where youth can get involved in supporting local sellers, learn about sustainability, and experiencing the joys of selling things they have sold . Whether it’s helping with stalls, organizing activities, or just enjoying the atmosphere, the youth program helps them develop important skills and stay connected to their community.

At the heart of it all, the Corryong Neighbourhood Centre’s youth program is about promoting active participation, skill-building, and positive social connections, creating a sense of belonging and empowerment for young people in the area.
