After engaging with the young people who utilized our space in 2021, we identified a growing interest not only in the arts and creativity but also in enhancing the environment of our youth space to be bright & colorful. This is where Wednesday Art was born. Two passionate youth workers collaborated closely with the young people to bring this vision to life. The initiative began with two mural projects, which were hand-painted directly onto our walls. However, we wanted more! We provided the paints, brushes, pencils, projectors, and blank walls, while the young participants contributed their creativity.

As Wednesday Art continued on a weekly basis, it flourished in ways the youth team had never anticipated. What started with murals expanded into a diverse range of artistic expressions, growing beyond our initial expectations.
